The PhishFort dashboard is now available as a Progressive Web App (PWA) — installable on any device in a single click, with no app store and no manual updates. If you’re already logging into the dashboard to review detections or track takedowns, you can install it as a standalone app today.
How to install the PhishFort dashboard
Installation takes under a minute on any device.
- On desktop or laptop: log in to the dashboard as you normally would, select Install app in the sidebar, then confirm in the prompt. The dashboard installs with its own icon and opens in its own window from that point on.
- On mobile or tablet: open the dashboard in your mobile browser, open the navigation menu, tap Install app, then tap Share and Add to Home Screen. The dashboard icon appears on your home screen alongside your other apps.
- If you’re at your computer and want to set it up on your phone at the same time, an in-app QR code lets you scan directly to the install flow on your mobile device.
Because it’s a PWA, there’s no version to manage. Every time you open the dashboard, you’re running the latest release — no update prompts, no manual installs.
Why a PWA matters for security operations
Phishing incidents don’t respect business hours or device preferences. A security team responding to a detection spike needs the same situational awareness from a phone at 11 pm as they do from a workstation at 9 am. A browser-dependent workflow creates unnecessary steps at critical moments.
